Recydrate the West

We believe that un-pasturised Somerset Cider is seriously underrepresented nationwide - even in the West Country!

Our aim is to celebrate local cider with a three day family fete featuring local acts, artists and performers thus promoting a large range of traditional Somerset ciders. Early last year we started hatching plans to organise a local festival.

In 2006, Recydrate had a fantastic atmosphere and was a resounding local success. The feedback was exceptionally positive; from the organisers, the public, and the Wiltshire council and police. Despite Sunday’s weather problems and unfortunate clash with an England World Cup football match the fete was a complete success. This year we are creating a similar environment while moderately increasing the size of the event.

This year's festival will cost £35 plus a booking fee, this will include 2 nights camping. Tickets will be available soon. Sign up to the mailing list and we'll let you know as soon as they become available and where to get them or just keep checking back on here.

This Year's Fete

Well what can say this we've made some improvements to the fete this year include:

  • a brand new location
  • a car park and campervan/caravan field
  • full weekend camping
  • the Apple Orchard (hammocks, cider education, and the Cheery Bomb Cafe)
  • a Bigtop, hosted by The Invisible Circus showcasing a variety of cabaret acts
  • ID Cidrall Chill Out Area
  • a large marquee hosted by the southwest’s finest up coming musicians, and
  • a cinema and play area for children
